We’ve just wrapped up another incredible year of helping families and kids experience the Spirit of Christmas. With your generosity, we were able to deliver wrapped requested gifts, family board games, and more to 351 children in 155 families. To all of our supporters and volunteers who shopped for and wrapped gifts, delivered packages to grateful families, and/or made a financial contribution to the Christmas program — THANK YOU!
And if you’re thinking, “Oh, I meant to help with your Christmas program,” there is still time to make an impact with a year-end donation that will help us do even more for the community in 2026.

As we put away the Christmas wrapping paper and restore our warehouse to our year-round mission of providing furniture, household essentials, comfort kits, cleaning supplies, birthday gifts, and more to families in our Cobb County community, we’re excited to help even more neighbors in need and look forward to getting a fast start in 2026.
2025 was our biggest year yet for furniture, which at times was hard to keep up with — from many perspectives! Our Simple Household Needs program provided furniture, household items, and much more to 324 households, including 426 adults and 606 children.
(For comparison: in 2024, we served 268 households with 339 adults and 510 children; in 2023, 212 households with 264 adults and 457 children.)
These families — neighbors in our community — come to us as they transition from homelessness or domestic violence shelters, flee unsafe or temporary living situations, or recover from tragedies such as house fires or other devastating events.
In most cases, they have very little or nothing to establish a safe and comfortable home — no beds or furniture, no household items, no cleaning supplies — none of the “simple needs” required to truly make a fresh start.

| Helping families create a stable, comfortable living environment as they rebuild is at the heart of SNGA’s mission, and we simply couldn’t do this work without the ongoing support of our donors and volunteers. The Spirit of Christmas and Simple Household Needs are just two of our seven programs. Through My Birthday Matters, we provided gifts and more for hundreds of children who are currently experiencing homelessness or who were previously homeless and served through our Simple Household Needs program. As you consider year-end giving, would you please consider a financial donation to Simple Needs GA to help struggling families right here in our Cobb County community? Your tax-deductible gift allows us to continue responding quickly and compassionately to families in need. One recent client shared: “Just wanted to say thank you again for everything! You don’t know how much I appreciate you! It feels amazing to be actually thought of. My children are very comfortable all thanks to you and your amazing team!!” |
